The Role: How you'll make an impact at Whales Corp?
We’re looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to manage accounting across both crypto and fiat transactions, and to prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS for our international holding structure.

This role blends traditional finance with blockchain environments. You’ll handle multi-jurisdictional flows, from bank accounts and fiat operations to wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
  • Maintain and reconcile crypto and fiat operations across group entities (Czech Republic, Switzerland, UAE, Seychelles, LATAM, etc.).
  • Track and classify blockchain transactions in line with IFRS standards.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across on-chain and off-chain sources.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics in crypto (TVL, APY, wallet flows, volatility) and fiat (P&L, cash flow, revenue models).
  • Coordinate audits and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Define and maintain reporting procedures and internal controls.
  • Support treasury operations and budgeting processes.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
  • University degree in Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in accounting/finance roles, ideally in fintech or international companies.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, crypto accounting, and blockchain-based transactions.
  • Proven understanding of financial KPIs and performance metrics in both fiat and crypto (token balances, staking/yield metrics, burn/mint logic, cost structures, revenue attribution).
  • Experience working with wallets, block explorers, and DeFi protocols.
  • Advanced Excel (modeling, reconciliation), Notion, and Google Workspace.
  • Fluent English (C1+) and Russian.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, self-driven.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in fintech, blockchain, or crypto projects.
  • Knowledge of modern data security and compliance standards.
  • Background in building financial models for scaling startups.
  • Experience working in distributed teams.
