Whales Corp is a global fintech startup building non-custodial payment infrastructure and Web3 financial products. 
We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is ready to become the driving force behind our marketing and communications. This role is not for someone who just executes tasks - it’s for a strategic builder and leader who will set up the marketing function from scratch, align it with business goals, and deliver measurable growth.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
  • Develop and execute brand and PR strategies for new and existing products, tied to measurable KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion, brand awareness).
  • Drive external communications: SMM, publications, work with industry media and partner platforms, with a focus on product adoption and lead generation.
  • Launch and optimize digital campaigns: test hypotheses, track performance metrics (CPC, CTR, CAC, ROI), and scale effective channels.
  • Speak the language of business through numbers: analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, explain why certain approaches worked or didn’t, and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Build partnerships and collaborations with clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Organize company participation in 3–4 major international conferences per year and track ROI from these activities (leads, partnerships, deals).
  • Manage contractors (SMM, design, PR), ensuring accountability and measurable impact.
  • Set up marketing processes and document them for future scaling.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven marketing experience in fintech, blockchain, or tech startups (B2C and B2B).
  • Solid track record of measurable achievements: user growth, brand reach, lead generation, CAC reduction, conversion improvements, ROI.
  • Strong analytical mindset: ability to explain marketing performance in numbers, analyze why campaigns succeeded or failed, and translate insights into strategy.
  • Experience building marketing from scratch in a startup or early-stage environment - from defining strategy to hiring and managing external contractors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to speak the language of business and influence stakeholders with data-driven arguments.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, analytics platforms, CRM, dashboards).
  • Fluent in English and Russian, both written and spoken.
  • Legal right to work in Europe (self-employed/freelance setup acceptable).
  • Willingness to travel internationally for conferences and partner events (≈4 times per year).
  • Personal qualities: mature, confident, result-oriented, able to own decisions and be accountable for outcomes.
Nice to have:
  • Hands-on experience with crypto products (wallets, exchanges, DeFi, payment solutions).
  • Previous role as a sole marketing manager in a startup, with full-cycle ownership.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing metrics specific to fintech and crypto (LTV, TVL, staking/yield adoption, token economics).
  • Experience launching products in new markets (e.g., MENA, LATAM, APAC).
  • Established network in fintech/crypto media and communities.
  • Background in growth marketing, community building, or influencer marketing.
